Morocco Experience

Reception at hotel in Algeciras where, after the introductions, we will give the briefing of this Morocco Experience, assign each customer so that everything is ready the next morning to begin the adventure. Welcome dinner.

We will leave early in the morning towards Tarifa, where we will take the Ferry to Tangier. Once all the customs procedures are finished, we will go to Asilah along the coast, to continue later to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Monumental and historic city with important monuments, highlighting the Royal Palace and its magnificent walled Medina, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

We have spent the first night on Moroccan soil and we already have a slight idea of ​​what lies ahead. After breakfast we will get on the bikes to reach our next destination: Bin el Ouidane. A beautiful place next to the lake of the same name, where we can rest enjoying the beautiful views of the lake from the hotel.

First of all, we will visit the Ouzoud Waterfalls, considered the highest and most beautiful in the country. We will get to eat at the majestic Marrakech. The hotel is located near the beautiful medina, the souk and its wild and bustling Jemma el Fna square. At night we will have a show-dinner.

Today it’s time to cross the Tichka. We will enjoy landscapes and curves that only the Atlas can offer. On the way to Ouarzazate the stop is obligatory in the Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, declared by UNESCO a world heritage site. After lunch we will continue on a simple road until we reach Ouarzazate.

We start the morning driving through the Garganta de Dades until we reach the famous winding road. And then to La Garganta del Todra. It has more than 100 meters high to delight us with scenes of climbers worthy of film. We will visit Tinerhir, a beautiful town with incredible views and after lunch we will go to Merzouga.

Today is a rest day by motorcycle, so anyone who wants can take the opportunity to meet in 4X4 the Arfoud market and the jail of the portuguese, or drive a buggy surfing the dunes (all these activities are optional and are not included in the price).
In the afternoon we’ll go on dromedary throuth the Erg Desert to watch a spectacular sunset and to sleep in jaimas.

Today’s route is long and very varied. First we will see the immense Al-Hassan lake. We will pass through Errachidia, where we will stop to enjoy the most extensive date palm grove in Morocco. We will make the ascent through the middle Atlas to Azrou and its forests of cedars dotted with macaques, up to Ifran, also called the small Switzerland for its typical alpine houses. And finally we will arrive in Fez, the imperial city of Morocco, religious, cultural, intellectual capital and the largest craft center. Its souk is one of the largest in the Muslim culture. After parking the motorcycles at the hotel, our official guide will show us the secrets of the medina and will make a lovely tour of its intricate streets.

On our last motorcycle day, we will stop to visit Chauoen, a beautiful blue village nestled in the mountains of the Rif. We will arrive in Tangier to take the ferry and we will sleep in Algeciras. We will celebrate our farewell dinner, where we’ll talk about this wonderful adventure that will never be erased from our retinas.
