In this shocking tour, “PYRENEES IN MOTO: THE PARADISE OF CURVES”, we´ll cross the Iberian Peninsula through the Pyrenees, both from the Spanish and the French slopes. Starting from the cosmopolitan Barcelona, ​​we´ll enter the Pyrenees through spectacular mountain roads, discovering: La Seu D’Urgell and Vielha in Lleida; the incredible landscape of Monte Perdido in Huesca; the mythical climbs of the Tour de France (Tourmalet and Col D’Aubisque); part of the route of the Camino de Santiago Aragonés; the streets through which the famous Encierro de San Fermín passes in the beautiful city of Pamplona; the stately city of San Sebastián; Barbastro, where the wine region of Somontano is located; ….

The price of unaccompanied pilot is 2.950 €, included rent of a BMW R1250GS

The passenger price is 1.570 €

Single room supplement throughout the trip is 550 €.

Rules and Advice
  • First we want to say that rules are made for the proper functioning of the group and therefore to make your trip as pleasant as possible. Please note that any action or decision you make along the route will affect the normal operation of the group. Therefore strongly recommend that you try to respect and comply with the rules and give you advice then we pray.
  • The organization has scheduled a refueling points and urged all members of the group please fill up your bike even if they have enough fuel to continue.

Itinerary

Day 1.Meeting and dinner at Barcelona hotel

Reception at Barcelona Hotel where, after the rigorous after the introductions, we´ll give the briefing of this tour “Pyrenees in Moto: The paradise of curves”, assign each customer so that everything is ready the next morning to begin the adventure. Welcome dinner.

Day 2.Barcelona-La Seu D'Urgell 193 Km

We´ll leave early in the morning heading north towards the Pyrenees. First we´ll go to Ripoll, to continue later by beautiful winding roads to La Seu D’Urgell. It is the capital of the Alt Urgell region, bordering Andorra. It was one of the most important cities of medieval Catalonia. It emphasizes its cathedral of Century V.


Day 3.La Seu D'Urgell-Monte Perdido 249 Km

We have spent the first night near the Pre-Pyrenees and we already have a slight idea of ​​what lies ahead. After breakfast we´ll get on the bikes to get into the Pyrenees. We´ll pass through the picturesque village of Vielha, where the luxurious ski resort of Baqueira Beret is located. Then we´ll make a brief incursion through twisting French roads, to re-enter Spain and go to our next destination: Monte Perdido. An idyllic enclave in the Pyrenees of Huesca, where we can rest enjoying the beautiful views from the hotel.


Day 4.Monte Perdido-Sabiñánigo 250 Km

Today is the main day of curves. We´ll face the most feared ports of the Tour of France: Tourmalet (2,115 m) and Col D’Aubisque (1,705 m). After enjoying linking continuous mountain passes of the French Pyrenees, we´ll return to Spain through the ski resort of Formigal. A few kilometers later we will arrive at a beautiful hotel, where we can rest returning to enjoy some privileged views.


Day 5.Sabiñánigo-San Sebastián 280 Km

Today touches a smoother day of curves. We will enjoy filming along the itinerary of the Camino de Santiago. We will pass by Jaca, Sos del Rey Católico and we will stop in Pamplona to stretch our legs walking along part of the route of the Encierros de San Fermín (the famous running of the bulls). Then we´ll continue along a beautiful road until we reach our next destination: San Sebastián.



Day 6.San Sebastián (rest day)

Nice place to have a rest day. In San Sebastian we can´t miss a walk through the Bay of La Concha, go for snacks in the old part of San Sebastian, see the views from Mount Igueldo, etc … The most daring can surf on the famous beach of Zurriola.



Day 7.San Sebastián-Barbastro 322 km

After finishing our journey on our way along the route of the two seas, we will return to the Mediterranean. The way back will be through the Pre-Pyrenees. The mountain passes will be much smoother than going, but we´ll not stop enjoying with beautiful views. After a stop in Jaca to take forces with the pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago, we will go to our next destination: Barbastro, the capital of Somontano. The denomination of origin of Somontano wine was created in 1984 and since then it has not stopped evolving and gaining prestige.



Day 8.Barbastro-Barcelona 288 Km

On our last motorcycle day, we will continue enjoying beautiful landscapes and winding roads until we reach Barcelona. Farewell dinner.


Day 9.Barcelona

It’s time to say goodbye. We leave to the Barcelona airport/ train station, with those who have contracted transportation. This Tour “Pyrenees in Moto: The paradisse of curves”, will be forever etched in our memory and our retinas. Until the next adventure !.
